PE and Sport Funding for Eldersfield Lawn CE Primary School
In April 2013, the Government announced new funding of £150 million for Physical Education (PE) and Sport for Primary Schools. This funding is being used to improve the quality and breadth of PE and Sport provision. Ofsted Inspectors will assess and report on how effectively this new funding is being used when making a judgement about the quality of our school’s leadership and management.
How much have we received?
In Financial Year 2014/15 we received £8,450
In Financial Year 2015/16 we received £8,450
In Financial Year 2016/17 we received £8,500
From September 2017, the government’s so-called, ‘Sugar-tax’, has almost doubled this funding stream.
In the Financial Year 2017/18 we received £13,900.

In the Financial Year 2019/20 we received £16,900
In the Financial Year 2020/21 we received £16,900
In the Financial Year 2021/22 we received £16,900
