Parents' Forum

We value the strength and benefit of positive partnership working with our parents.

The Parent Forum meets with the Headteacher each term and the group includes parent representatives from each year.

The meetings provide the opportunity to share, discuss and resolve whole school issues and for the school to seek the views of parents as part of whole school improvement.

For all other queries or concerns directly relating to your child, then contact should be made directly with your child's class teacher.

Please see below details of the agendas and minutes from our previous Parent Forum meetings.

The parent forum continue to explore ways we can enhance road safety for children and families at drop off and collection times.

As part of this work, we have trialled the opening of the large, wide black metal gate at the front of school. Positive feedback has been shared in this trial helping to ease congestion and allow easier, quicker access onto the playground.

Thank you to all the Forum members who attend and for the partnership work they engage in with the school.

Update from 20th October 2023

  • Positive feedback was received for the huge improvement seen in communication from the school, including the information shared in the weekly newsletter, information on the school website and via emails.
  • The Forum members were pleased with the wider range of additional after school activity clubs which were now being offered.
  • Views would be sought around interest for the Class 4 London trip to a museum and theatre.
  • Views would also be collected via a parent survey to gain interest and demand in extending the time of the current after school provision.
  • The school was exploring ways to work with Highways regarding parking and the busy road.
