Eldersfield Lawn C.E. Primary School for LIFE

Living and

 Inspiring

Futures for

Everyone

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

Through our Christian vision of LIFE we aim to ensure that every member of of Eldersfield Lawn Primary School reaches their full potential in their own lives but also in giving to the lives of others. We believe it is important to build respect and understanding of the way different people live their lives so that each person we meet and learn about is treated with dignity. We teach this through our 6 core Christian values and it underpins the learning and environment of our school and how we work together as a school family, just us Jesus did, accepting everyone into his family.

Who are we?

“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”

Romans 12:5

We, the students, staff and governors of Eldersfield Lawn Primary School, are part of many families; our school family, our local community, our national identity and a global community with responsibility for the whole world.

Why are we here?

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

We are here to learn that we all have a role to play in making wise decisions so everyone can live with dignity.

How then shall we live?

“Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, and to be generous and ready to share, treasuring up for themselves a firm foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.”

1 Timothy 6:18-19

We will live so that our actions will have a positive effect throughout our lives and we hope on the lives of others, demonstrating understanding of culture, beliefs and community.
