I hope that you are all safe and well. I wanted to take this opportunity to share the home learning arrangements for the coming weeks.
Each class teacher has prepared a home learning pack, that can be collected from the front of school from midday today (Class 2-4), Class 1 packs can be collected from 9.00am tomorrow. The packs are all individually named, so please ensure that you collect the correct pack. If your child is accessing the key worker provision tomorrow, the packs will remain in school for them to access when they are in.
Each class teacher will also be making contact with their class on a daily basis using teams. This will take the form of a half hour live session in which children will have the opportunity to see their teacher and hear about what the day’s lessons have in store for them. The timings will be as follows,
9.00 Class 3 and 4
10.00 Reception – Group 1
10.30 Class 2
11.00 Reception – Group 2
11.30 Class 2
Your child will receive an invite via Teams for the correct meeting. If you have not had a chance to register your child on Teams, full instructions can be found at https://www.eldersfieldlawn.worcs.sch.uk/parent-partnership/ If you are struggling to register your child, please contact me at [email protected] and I can reset the password for you.
Outside of the above timings, if your child needs help or support with their remote learning their class teacher will be available via Teams until 1.00pm. The teachers will be using the afternoon to contact individual children and offer tailored support where needed.
For parents who are accessing the key worker provision, school will open from 8.00am and we ask that you collect your child as early as in possible so as to minimise contact with others. Your child will need to bring a packed lunch and we ask that they wear sensible clothes that will keep them warm if working outside. School uniform does not need to be worn.
