By now, I am sure that you are all aware of the Prime Minister's announcement this evening. He has stated that as of midnight, amongst other restrictions, schools will move to remote learning and will be closed to all children with the exception of those who are vulnerable or have parents who are considered key workers.
Due to the short notice of this announcement, I am afraid that school will be shut for all pupils tomorrow. We will reopen on Wednesday to cater for vulnerable and key worker children. Remote learning packs will be circulated with further details announced tomorrow. Remote learning provision will also start from Wednesday.
More information will be emailed to you tomorrow as well as shared on the school website. If you are classified as a key worker and you wish to make use of our provision, I would be very grateful if you could email me at [email protected] and let me know the days and times that your child will need to attend school. This will enable us to ensure that there are enough staff on site.
I am sure that you share my frustrations on the short notice of this announcement and I thank you in advance for your understanding and support.
