PE and Sport Funding for Eldersfield Lawn CE Primary School
In April 2013, the Government announced new funding of £150 million for Physical Education (PE) and Sport for Primary Schools. This funding is being used to improve the quality and breadth of PE and Sport provision. Ofsted Inspectors will assess and report on how effectively this new funding is being used when making a judgement about the quality of our school’s leadership and management.
In Financial Year 2014/15 we received £8,478
In Financial Year 2015/16 we received £8,455
In Financial Year 2016/17 we received £8,498
How are we using the funding and what impact is it having?
Below is an outline of the ways in which the Primary PE and School Sport Funding is being used at Eldersfield.
In the Financial Year 2017/18 we are set to receive £16,930. Due to the government diverting money from the, so-called, ‘sugar-tax’, all state Primary schools in England have received a virtual doubling of this funding stream. Our Spending Report 2017/18 will be available soon.
